The Lodge is an arc shaped wooden cabin with cosy lodge style decor nestled next to castle walls just behind the North Tower (built 1289). It sleeps 2 with tea and coffee facilities and mini fridge so you can enjoy tea in bed looking out to cedar trees and the ancient castle walls. 

A porch area provides shelter for boots and coats after wandering by the river or on woodland footpaths nearby.

Electric lighting and plug sockets (including USB) as standard. 

There is a space for a travel cot if needed.
